Hung worked at Bloomberg TV & ESPN/StarSport in Vietnam as a Head of Ads sale in 2005-2006 before starting up his own company named IMC Group to become Founder & CEO of the Company. IMC Group's ecosystem includes TODAYTV, YOUTV, and MTV. IMC Group later attracted investments from the Kinh Do Group, MediaCorp Singapore (Temasek), Tan Hiep Phat Beverage,... In 2011, IMC Group reached USD$60M in revenue.
Expanding further into the communications industry, Hung became the Founder and CEO of Havas Media Group Vietnam, representing Havas Group's presence in Vietnam. In 2019, Havas Vietnam achieved over USD$50M in total revenue for both local and international market.
